Default Will Draw for Ale!

Here's my problem: I'm less than 4,000 minutes away from finally getting my Incorrigible Ale-Hound title, but I only have 300 minutes of alcohol left. Since I'm tired of helping Kilroy punch-out Fronis repeatedly, I thought I'd offer art in exchange for ale.

Examples
1. My Mesmer and her boyfriend in winter clothes
2. A slightly older picture of them
3. An original character
4. My monk dancing
5. Mesmer bust
6. An old picture, but an example of armor
7. A dragon, for more examples of coloring
8. Unshaded picture from last year
9. A Maleficent sketch
(finished commission examples are below)

Pricing
I'm new at this, so I'm not really sure what to charge. Suggestions are welcome, but I'm thinking since alcohol can be bought pretty cheap from other players, 400 minutes worth of alcohol for a full-body color, and 200 for a half-body color, or full-body sketch. If you want something different like a bust, or added pet, we can work something out. You can also get Monastery Credits cheaply and exchange them for ale. If you have firewater, spiked eggnog or aged dwarven ale, those count as 3 minutes, so only 1/3 as much would be needed than if paying in normal ale. I accept any type of alcohol in any combination. If anyone is unfamiliar with how the Drunkard title works, go here.

1 Dwarven ale = 1 minute
400 Dwarven Ale = 400 minutes

1 Aged Dwarven Ale = 3 minutes
1 Firewater = 3 minutes
1 Spiked Eggnog = 3 minutes
133 Firewater = 399 minutes

All other types of alcohol (eggnog, vabbian wine, rice wine, etc.) = 1 minute

What I need from you
1. Screenshots. The closer the better, with multiple angles and a face close-up.
2. A personality description
3. Age
4. What kind of pose you want
5. What kind of picture (full body color, sketch...), and if your picture is colored what kind of lines you want (example 1 and 2, or example 3).
6. Any other specifications or relevant information

After I finish the sketch, I'll send it to you for approval. Any minor changes can be made at this time. When you approve of the sketch, I'll color it and send you the full version. Unless you just wanted a sketch.

The List - Closed until completed
1. Vic
2. Lyonette
3. Messy

Finished

Thanks for looking, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

Your idea is amazing and your coloring is amazing. I did not quite understand how the person giving you ale or you are not going to scam us or we not going to scam you. Maybe you could send the person who is going to give you ale an example of the picture you are going to draw first and than send another picture of the exact thing your going to draw and like you said to make sure that its ok. To be honest I don't think your going to scam us but I think that people are going to scam you. Personally, I would not do this at guru at all but I would go out and earn my own ale and not have to worry about people scamming.

- I hope that your idea does not turn into a huge disaster but a success and I hope everything goes well

don't all comissions have that risk?
Usually peaple have a reputation to loose at GW guru so scamming is not a big problem at the art section.

sending a thumbnail is an option of cause...

Excellent! Valeria, just let me know what you want drawn.

I don't really see how using ale as a method of payment would make more of a risk for scamming? Either you pay in ale or you pay in gold or you don't pay at all...And I'm not asking for it up front so it's not like I'm scamming you. :P I guess I could send a watermarked version of the picture before the ale is sent. I've already farmed a lot of ale and I would prefer to spend my time drawing.

400. A cheaper method would be to buy 133-134 Flasks of Firewater in the Great Temple of Balthazar for 250-300g each.

Feast, I would prefer ale because then I don't have to find players selling it. But maybe if enough people would rather pay in gold, that could change.

Sorry it's confusing, I thought the link would help. I'll update the post with some examples.

How much would it be for two halfbody colors of two chars? 2 x 200 minutes?

I am thinking, of as a present getting a drawing made for my friend and want to include both are chars in there.

Kinda like example 1. you posted

Hailfall- yes that would be 400 minutes. Shall I put you on the list and you can send me pictures after I'm done with the first two?

Lyonette- What, is my ranger not manly enough for you? I think females are easier, but I can do males too. I just took a class in figure drawing, so I could send you some examples of the male models when I get back to my home computer this weekend. If you decide you want a drawing, you'll get to approve the sketch to make sure it's masculine enough.

As a general notice, I don't have access to my computer with Photoshop until this weekend, so I'm just working on sketches.
